Gwynn’s and Dylan’s Candy Bar: A Sweet Duo!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Gwynn’s of Mt. Pleasant is excited to bring Dylan’s Candy Bar to our favorite Charlestonians! As the exclusive SC retailer carrying this delectable line of sweets, Gwynn’s shoppers can find a range of Dylan’s goodies, including Whirly Pops, signature chocolate bars, gummy sweet treat towers, adorable apparel and so much more.

One of the things we’re super proud of at Gwynn’s is our top-of-the-line merchandise that is hand-picked for our Charleston shoppers. We can’t help but think that Dylan’s Candy Bar brings just the right elements of sweet, sophistication and fun to our line up!

The super yummy chocolate bars include innovative offering such as Strawberries & Champagne, Milk Chocolate with Jalapeños, S’mores, Toffee Crunch and Banana Cream Pie.

Our very own Ronnie Williams tried the Milk Chocolate with Jalapeños bar and gave it two thumbs up!

“I must say that it was great. I cut the bar into sections and offered everyone in the store a taste and we all agreed it was fantastic. The jalapeño flavor was minimal and the chocolate was very good. Afterwards there is a hint of heat in the very back of your mouth and throat. I will do it again.” – Ronnie

Tangerine Dreams in 2012

Since 2000, Pantone has been declaring its “Color of the Year,” which is meant to be a representation of the hue that will define our mood for the year. That color for 2012 is Tangerine Tango, a spirited reddish orange, which provides the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.

Marshall’s Corner: Welcome to the Gwynn’s Family!

If you’ve spent much time at all in Gwynn’s, you know that we consider ourselves so much more than a store. I mean, don’t get me wrong, we have 25,000 square feet of the best in women’s and men’s apparel, home accessories, cosmetics, skincare and more.

But, more than that, we’re a family-owned and -operated local business with heart and personality. We truly feel it’s important to build community with our customers and it is our hope that everyone who comes in to see us has a memorable experience.

One of the things that I definitely think makes Gwynn’s stand apart is our pride in taking the extra step for our guests. For instance, did you know that we hold Saturday morning brunch every weekend? It’s not elaborate or formal, but there’s plenty of conversation, laughter and, of course, food! We also host events and gatherings as an opportunity to get to know our customers a little better and for them to get to know one another.

Some of our other services include tailoring, personal shopping assistance, gift wrapping, local delivery of merchandise and gifts, and more.
